The Shedd Aquarium 1200 S. Lake Shore Drive Downtown Chicago 312-939-2438 The Shedd Aquarium is best known for their incredible oceanarium. The oceanarium is the worlds largest indoor marine mammal pavilion and has over 3 million gallons of saltwater. This large pavilion is where you can observe the famous Beluga Whales. The aquarium has many great attractions such as exotic fish, coral, dolphins, and sea otters.

The art museum offers several exhibits and education. Don’t miss the world renown masterpieces such as A Sunday Afternoon on La Grand Jatte--1884 by Georges Seurat, American Gothic by Grant Wood, Nighthawks by Edward Hopper, and 33 paintings by Claude Monet.
The Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum 1300 S. Lake Shore Drive Downtown Chicago 312-922-7827 If you would like to get a closer look at the universe, visit the Planetarium. The Planetarium offers several exhibits on the stars and plants. Check out the Sky Theater, which allows you to view the wonders of the night sky that is projected on a 68ft dome!
