Chicago Riverwalk

The newest place for fun in Chicago is open for the summer. There are many businesses along the Riverwalk offering great amenities from

concessions, fine dining, and water taxis. This year, five new cafés will join the three returning cafés, along with boat tours, water taxis, bike rentals, and weekend sales of crafts and souvenirs made by local women entrepreneurs.

National Night Out

This is an Eagle Scout Project for the benefit of The Wheatland’s, Homestead, Wolf’s Crossing Schools, and their surrounding communities.  The ‘National Night Out’ rallies were introduced by the Association of Town Watch, which is a nonprofit, crime prevention organization. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

50th Annual Chicago Air and Water Show
